The ScrawlrBox for November 2017 featured Artliner pens and art tools. There was even a compass included! For those who are interested in trying these supplies for themselves, I have included my Amazon affiliate links down below.
Here's what you see when the box is opened. Ooh, Spectrum Noir pens!
The first item that I received was a set of six Spectrum Noir ArtLiner pens. The sizes were: 005 mm, 01 mm, 03 mm, 05 mm, 08 mm, and a brush nib. The color of the pens was black. This set is available at Michaels.com or Amazon.com and the price ranges from $17.99 to $21.37.
Second I received an Artline 990XF gold pen. This pen has a bullet nib. This pen is a little tricky to find in the United States. Amazon.com has the 999XF series for sale, but not the 990XF series. However, you can find it on Ebay for around $6 for two of these pens.
Next there was an Artline Supreme metallic marker. This marker was a shiny blue color. This marker is also hard to find in the United States, but it is available on Ebay.
Finally there was a Staedtler metal compass with a pencil. You can get the compass on Amazon for around $5.00.
Also, there was the art supplies list, a ScrawlrBox sticker, a print from the artist of the month, and a creamy watermelon candy. (The candy was really good.) The artist of the month was Cai Burton. Check out his site at www.caiburton.co.uk
Doodlin' Time!
The Spectrum Noir ArtLiner pens are of professional quality and very nice. The Artline Gold Metallic marker has good coverage and shine. The Artline Supreme metallic marker makes a really pretty blue color. I really liked how the Staedtler compass was easy to use. It made very good circles.
'Moon Blowing Bubbles'

The Scrawlr Challenge mentioned something about bubbles, so I decided to do a silly picture of the moon blowing bubbles. I used the compass to make the outer circular edge of the moon. Then I colored it with the gold Artline pen and made some blue bubbles with the blue metallic Artline Supreme marker. Then I used the Spectrum Noir ArtLiner pens to add the final details to the moon and bubbles. You can definitely make some very fine details with the Spectrum Noir ArtLiner pens.
